Piedmont Pines

Good practice for what it is.

This course is not maintained at all. Grass is overgrown in the tees, grass needs to be cut around the course, and there is a storm damaged pine tree in the middle of the fairway on hole 1. Aside from that this is a good course for beginners. You would need to keep your throws to the left side of the course for all but 3 of the holes or run the risk of it going over the Natural Gas company’s fence.

A course that needs more love and management, but the potential is great. Many shot selections from easy to hard. The downfall is the potential to throw your disc over the facility fence, then you may not get it back. Most tee pads are in good shape, but some are not but course is usually well mowed by the facility.
