Welcome to Salem Gold layout — an 18-hole disc golf layout currently under development. This layout is being played from temporary long tee locations, intended to reflect the final design once permanent tee pads are installed. This course is longer and more technical than a standard short-pad layout and is designed to challenge players through controlled distance, shot shaping, and thoughtful decision-making. All teeing areas are temporary and marked in the field with orange flags in the ground. Please take care when teeing: Use a controlled run-up. Be mindful of footing, roots, and uneven ground. If needed, adjust your stance for safety. Final tee pad placement and orientation are still being evaluated. The course features a mix of wooded fairways, technical lines, and longer open shots. Fairways are intentionally defined, but many holes are still being refined. Players should expect: Narrow gaps that test accuracy, Strategic landing zones rather than straight power throws, Risk-reward decisions that may evolve as the course matures. Some holes may feel demanding or slightly awkward—this is intentional at this stage of development and part of the evaluation process. Your input matters. As you play, please note: Tee pad locations that feel unsafe or awkward, Fairways that feel too tight or unfair, Landing zones that don’t match intended scoring, Holes that feel repetitive or unclear, Safety or flow concerns between holes. Constructive feedback will help shape the final version of the course. Please note, these tee pad locations are the long pads are intended to be challenging. We will create short pad locations as we continue to develop the course.
