Headline
Great course set along Ivy and Blackwater creek watersheds. Half open holes and wooded holes.
Description
This is a great park with 18 holes of Disc Golf and one soccer field at the end of the walking path. The path leads to a portable bathroom and many people walk their dogs on the path from the nearby neighborhood. Several of the first holes play along the path, so please be courteous when others are around. Course has a creek all along the left side of the park and several of the first holes use that creek as a left side edge. That creek unfortunately overflows often on hard rains, so be careful of sand on the early tee pads as you play. City does an amazing job trying to keep up with the washouts. Most of the back holes play in the woods with some awesome lines. There are also land owners along the back edge of the course, all marked with OB and signage all along the property. Please be careful not to cross over the boundaries. This park has great signage and tee pad maps of fairways, distances and next hole markings. Enjoy of of the fast growing courses in the central Virginia area. Thanks to the Parks & Rec of City of Lynchburg!
