History
Opened in July 2021, the Central Valley Disc Golf Course was built by the City of Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department on 56 acres of the former Coleman Farm. While the several-hundred-acre property was purchased for water distribution, this rolling section was designated for recreation. In 2020, Parks staff partnered with veteran players and local professionals—Mike Moore, Logan Bowers, and Aaron Moore—to design the layout, which was then constructed entirely by the department. Today, Central Valley stands as a championship-caliber course and a showcase of community recreation.
