Basics
Course name | Esler Sports Complex DGC
Course location | Williams Lake, BC, Canada
Headline | A challenging wooded course that demands both power and accuracy.
Description | Unlike other courses that are incorporated into existing parks or natural forest spaces, the mature Douglas-fir forest adjacent to the Esler Sports Complex was logged specifically to fit a custom, challenging design created by the Cariboo Disc Golf Club.
This challenging wooded course has a thoughtful, well designed layout that demands players to bring both power and accuracy. Full power throws are required to successfully navigate the long, narrow fairways through towering mature Douglas-fir trees - bringing a unique and fun experience to all players! If you can manage the variety of shot shapes and stay on the fairways, you will be rewarded by watching your disc soar down long forested hallways, and by collecting a few well-earned birdies along the way. However, if a small mistake finds you off the fairway and in the rough, you will need to bring your best technical game in order to escape the trees and save par.
With both red and blue pads on almost every hole, players from amateur to advanced skill levels can enjoy a fun and rewarding round at the Esler Sports Complex Disc Golf Course!
Parking is found in the dirt lot between the disc golf course and the softball fields.
