The preeminent disc golf course in SWFL, located in the Estero Community Park.
Description
Estero Disc Golf Course is a 19-hole course with three tee options per hole (Red, White, and Blue), offering fun for beginners and a challenge for advanced players. The Red layout is mostly beginner-friendly, with only Hole 1A requiring a water carry (which can be skipped). Water also comes into play on Hole 7. The White and Blue layouts add difficulty with required water carries on 1A, 3, and 13. Players will enjoy a mix of open and wooded holes with a variety of shot shapes, and the final hole plays from the top of a hill, a rarity in the area. Each hole has two basket positions, which typically rotate around the 1st and 15th of each month to keep the course fresh. The course is set in a vibrant community park with a recreation center, beach volleyball courts, a playground, and more. Restrooms are available inside the recreation center (near Hole 16) and by the playground (near Hole 10). Currently, a building is under construction in the park, resulting in temporary hole adjustments. Once complete, the course will feature brand-new concrete tee pads for an upgraded playing experience. Discs are available to borrow. See the course web site for information.
