🥏 Welcome to the 2025 MERCED NADGT – Cee Time Event Caddie Book Introduction Thank you for joining us for the very first Merced NADGT Qualifier, hosted at beautiful Fahrens Park by the Merced Disc Golf Club. This is a one-round, 18-hole, tee time-based event featuring a custom layout designed to challenge shot shaping, placement, and mental focus—perfect for showcasing your game in true NADGT fashion. 📍 Layout Overview: The course features a hybrid of the OG Fahrens Park layout with a few NADGT-exclusive adjustments to elevate the competitive experience. Expect a mix of technical lines through tree tunnels, elevation changes, OB pressure along sidewalks and roads, and a few ace runs to keep things exciting. Mandos: Clearly marked with flags and signage—missing a mando will require play from the designated drop zone. OB: All roads, sidewalks, and creek-connected water are OB. These will be painted and flagged where needed. Hazards: Paths and in-play tee pads are considered hazards. Play from the lie with a one-stroke penalty. 🚩 Additional Player Notes: Drop Zone are marked and in use on specific holes—check signage and the hole notes in this caddie book. The 2-meter rule is in effect. There is no alcohol or drug use allowed during play—violators will be disqualified. Respect the park and all non-tournament park users. Pace of play is important—stay ready, stay courteous, and keep up with the group ahead. This is a trophy-only qualifier , and while professionals may play, they are not eligible for NADGT invitations . Hole notes

General Rules & Playoff Summary: The 2-meter rule is in effect for this event. All marked and flagged mandatory routes (mandos) must be followed. Drop zones are in play where indicated by flags and paint. Out-of-bounds areas (OB) include all sidewalks, roads, and any creek-connected bodies of water. Hazards include pathways and tee pads that are part of the course layout. Absolutely no alcohol or drug use is allowed during play—any player found in violation will be immediately removed from the event. In the case of a tie for first place (or another designated position), a sudden-death playoff will occur immediately following the final round. The tied players will compete hole-by-hole, starting on a hole determined by the Tournament Director. Standard stroke play rules apply, and the playoff continues until one player scores lower than the others on a hole. If multiple players remain tied, they will continue on to the next hole while others are eliminated. Standard PDGA rules apply throughout, including OBs, hazards, and mandos. Players are expected to conduct themselves professionally and keep the pace of play respectful and timely. Spectators should remain quiet and out of the way during playoff action.
