Headline
Brand new Family/Kid friendly putter/obstacle/ace race short 18 hole course right on the shore of Lake Michigan.
Description
A small short distance family and youth friendly obstacle disc golf (pitch and putt) course right on the lake! For advanced players this course offers ace race runs on every hole and is a perfect place to practice your short game. This is a PUTTER/MID ONLY COURSE, no sharp edge (drivers) discs allowed. This is entirely for park and pedestrian safety. All park activity and park users have right of way at all times. A walking bridge across the sand dune's gully was just recently installed by the Manistee City Department of Public Works as well as new trash receptacles and blue benches strategically located in great viewing locations! The disc golf park is direct collaboration between the Manistee Parks Department, the Manistee DPW, and especially the Manistee County Community Foundation and their exceptionally generous Minger Grant which funded the majority of the park.
