Course name
Hanging Oaks
Course location
Penn Valley, California
Headline
Mix of slightly open and technical
Description
The course presents a challenging layout with a variety of hazards, and various hole lengths. Hanging Oaks has alternating pin positions, complete with placements on a moat-surrounded island and a "volcano." And true to its name, the course's many large, grabby oak trees leave many a lost disc hanging from high above. Small ponds and a creek provide water hazards throughout the course during the winter and spring. Water fountains on the course are temporarily out of service. Awaiting an update from the park.
