Headline
Accessible 9 Hole course with 18 tee pads.
Description
Created by Evan Burlew, BSA Troop 302, as an Eagle Scout project. Featuring 18 tarmac Tee Pads HTCC features longer open fairways with trees/powerlines creating few obstacles. To play the 18 hole layout you play the first round from the standard tees typically notated with red posts with Tee signs where applicable. After playing hole 9 you can play the alternate tees typically indicated by white posts to the same baskets to play a back 9 which shakes up the layout a little either shortening or extending the hole and in some cases changing the angle of the shot. The course features a few mandatories to aid in adding some difficulty and keeping you off of the neighboring properties that come into play on holes 7/16 for example if a mandatory is missed Retee and assess a penalty stroke do not play from areas outside of the parks property lines (can be seen by the row of trees or bushes that surround the right hand side of the park). Hole 9/18 features OB in front of the basket with a large rock field that features a drop zone marked by pavers and a sign. Players looking to work on their control at distance will find Hanover to be a fun track you can play quickly as its layout is rather compact considering the distances. When the season calls for it the property crew will also cut the grass in a way that shapes the fairways visibly between the long and short grass for a fun added challenge try playing these tall grass areas as OB/Hazards.
