History
Established in 1987, Highland Road Park became Baton Rouge’s first permanent disc golf course and helped spark the city’s disc golf community. After three decades of play, the course was redesigned and upgraded between 2017–2019 through BREC’s renovation project, blending new layouts and improved features with the park’s classic hills and oaks. Today, Highland stands as the historic home and heart of Baton Rouge disc golf.
