"The course is marked using purple triangles that serve as a permanent "mini" for each tee shot (thus, you may have a runup, but your plant foot must end up behind the mini). Any shot that is not touching grass (or would touch grass when placed from a tree lie) incurs a 1-stroke penalty and play the shot as it lies (exceptions: on holes 2 and 16 there is no grass near the basket so there is NO hazard rule; on holes 3 and 8, missed mando plays from a drop zone
