2010 and 2013 PDGA PRO Worlds and 2018 US Masters Championship Course
Description
Variations of Lemon Lake County Park's Courses were used for the 2010 and 2013 Pro World Championship, the 2018 Tim Selinske US Masters Championship, Indiana State Doubles and Singles Championships, Illinois Open Series, Discontinuum Club Challenge, the long standing Matt "HOMIE" Lovasko Memorial and many other A, B, C and XC Tiered events.
A great PRO level course with short and long holes. If you are visiting the park for the first time or only have time to play one course, THIS IS IT! This is the shorter version of the World Championship Gold Course. Holes 1-4 are in the woods, 5-9 are longer mostly in fields, and 10-18 are back in the woods. Course will test all your shots including forehand, backhand, hyzer, anhyzer, tunnel shots, and up and down hills. Lots of fun to play over and over given the various types of shots you can play. When you’re in the woods you will definitely need to hit your spots. Courses can be muddy in the Spring and drier in Summer months. Overall, a great course!
Lemon Lake Flight Center is located onsite in the park and north of the main parking lot. Established in 2010 the pro shop and information center is stocked with 1000's of discs, bags, accessories, snacks and beverages for purchase and is home to the Indiana State Disc Golf Museum. The pro shop is open 365 days each year. Hours are subject to change. For more information, to volunteer, sponsor or for programming opportunities please contact the pro shop at 219-771-3472.
Parking fees are only ($5) per car (Indiana State Resident), ($8) per car (Out of State) when a gatekeeper is on duty and at the park's entrance. The Pro Shop does NOT collect parking fees for the park. Park passes are available at the entrance gate and can also be obtained at the Lake County Parks Administrative Offices located at 8411 E.
