Meade State Park Disc Golf Course
Course location
Meade, Kansas
Headline
Perfect for beginners, some elevation changes as the course follows a shallow ravine
Description
A Kansas State Park vehicle permit is required to park in Meade State Park. If you do not currently have a valid permit affixed to your windshield, one can be obtained from the self-pay station at the south entrance to the park (cash/card accepted). The parking lot for the course is located by following the road to the west of the South Self-Pay station. This course is in a grassy field that was recently burned out due to a wildfire, so some plants are still recovering. The course is otherwise cart friendly. The course is designed specifically for beginners. The baskets are placed along a shallow ravine and there are some steep elevation changes. Distances from the tee box to the baskets were purposefully left short to encourage beginners to try the sport for the first time. Discs can be borrowed through the park office for no fee.
