Mereside Disc Golf Course 2 free-to-play courses at Mereside (SY2 6LH) on the east of Shrewsbury (Shropshire) set around a glacial mere. Both courses are mapped out on the Udisc app, which we highly recommend to all new players. It's free, is available on all major platforms, and you can even use it to remember your scores. Mereside Red Course: Suitable for beginners and families for fun casual rounds 9-hole short course . Hole distances from 35m – 80m. Par-27 Mereside Blue Course: A very challenging course with a mix of open holes and tight woodland holes Hole distances from 43m – 211m. Par-57 The Mereside Blue course layout was redesigned in 2019 to avoid the areas of the park that are used more frequently by the public. Mereside Blue course offers a varied set of challenges and is perfect for experienced players looking for a casual or competitive round that will test their skills to the maximum. Mereside is easily found using the postcode SY2 6LH where you will find a free car park next to the 1st tee of the Blue course. The Red course starts in the treeline past the football pitches at the top of the park. There is also a 9 hole suitable course for families and beginners in Telford. It is located in the Town Park (TF3 4EP) near the visitor centre, and it's easy to find using one of the many car parks.
