Description
A small city park in Hillsboro, Oregon with a 9-hole permanent disc golf course. The course has a practice basket, cement tee pads, good signage, and multiple basket placements on every hole. Terrain is mostly flat and open, but some trees come into play on several holes. Play the naturally defined OB lines for added difficulty. The course is host to a weekly random-draw doubles disc golf league on Tuesday nights from mid-April through mid-August called "Tuesday Twos at Orchard Park". Search the league on Facebook for details about the league and for all current information relating to the disc golf course. Hillsboro Parks & Recreation Description: This 21-acre community park provides a unique combination of recreation and wildlife viewing opportunities. A ½-mile paved path leads through open and wooded natural areas with viewpoints, boardwalks and bridges over Rock Creek. Benches are provided throughout the park along the paved path. The playground with climbing boulder, and the disc golf course offer a range of options for activities. The park can be accessed from the north off of NW Amberwood Drive, and from the adjacent neighborhood off of NW Sheffield Avenue. Accessible restrooms and a drinking fountain are available.
