Description
Pointe Des Chênes Disc Golf Course (PDC) is a 18-hole course which features Dynamic Disc Veteran Baskets. The course offers 9 holes in the beautiful Pointe Des Chênes public park. In 2025, 9 holes were expanded into the former campground alongside the park. The “Campground” features technical wooded holes. While adding more breathtaking views of the coast of Lake Superior. The course has a combination of gravel, grass and concrete teepads. The expanded holes are marked with White and pink flags to mark the teepad. The course may be accessed through the campground and beach entrances. Effective fall 2025 layouts updated to begin the course at the campground entrance. To be more accessible in the spring and fall seasons. The course begins with 3 holes in the expansion. Players then take a path to connect to the park, and “Old” Hole 7. Once through the original 9 park holes. “Old” Hole 6 now connects to the playground to finish the course on the remaining 6 expansion holes. During the summer months the course runs through an active city park. Walkers have the right of way. The property features bathrooms, sun shelters and plenty of picnic areas as well as a very large public beach area. During the spring and fall, portable bathrooms are on site. Established as 9 holes in 2021, Installed signage reflects the original 9 in the public park. Basket numbers and tee signs do not reflect the UDisc layout. Players are encouraged to utilize the UDisc Map feature to find their next hole. Course Ambassadors are actively working on increasing signage to assist players.
