Course name
RAAF East Sale Disc Golf Course
Course location
East Sale, Australia
Headline
Open flat course with trees and water obstacles.
Description
First tee located next to car park at Officers’ Training School. All users must read and sign a site induction prior to using. Discs available on a deposit and return basis from RAAF East Sale Disc Golf Club. Contact the Officer in Charge (OIC - currently FLTLT Phil Tweed). Non military users must be signed onto base and accompanied by a military member. Course is located on a shared space with a large scale confidence course. Players are not permitted to attempt the obstacles, the obstacle areas are considered OB, and can only be accessed to retrieve discs. There are three water hazards on the course which will require throwing over open water. It is highly recommended that players use floating discs for the water carry holes. Discs may only be recovered if they are floating close to shore, players should use disc retrieval poles or other means to recover discs, and should not enter the water to retrieve discs. Two new tournament level courses have been added to complement the original red and blue tees. The Orange Tournament Tees and Gold Tournament Tees are both pro level courses designed to challenge experienced players.
