Pat Coursey(City of Brownwood Council Member), and close friend Rick McNutt(Professional Disc Golfer with PDGA) officially finished Riverside Park when the back 9 was installed in 2013. The Brownwood City Council wanted to increase the park's recreational offerings. They chose this specific part of the park due to the fact that you play around 100+ Year Old Pecan Trees!
