9 holes with #1 Tee being just off the corner of Broadway & Russell and is marked by a sign. Play proceeds counter clockwise and ends up where you started with the #9 basket being proximate to the first tee. Course is mown, native grass and is kept in great shape by volunteers from the community who also take care of the Porter Park facilities.

Not recommended for individuals with limited mobility - All of the holes are accessible but there are no paths per se and some of the terrain is prairie rugged. It is not as flat as it may appear and there are mild elevation changes, including a hill on hole 5.
