History
Seal Park Disc Golf was created in 2025 by Valley Flying Discs, a local nonprofit dedicated to growing the sport in Millersburg and the surrounding community. The inspiration came after seeing how challenging Wiconisco Creek Disc Golf Course (Wic) can be for kids and beginners. Seal Park was designed as a more accessible stepping stone: a course where first-timers, families, and students can learn the basics, build confidence, and enjoy the game before taking on the challenge of Wic. Located in the heart of Millersburg next to the schools and town pool, the course makes disc golf easy to enjoy after school or during the summer. The project was made possible through a partnership with the Millersburg Borough, support from the Disc Golf Foundation’s Matching Baskets Program, and generous donations from community sponsors. Seal Park now stands as a true community course: simple, approachable, and built to introduce the next generation to the game.
