Course name
William Chorley DGC
Course location
Sacramento, California
Headline
Big open shots, tight technical shots, and everything in between.
Description
Course is no longer flooded and is somewhat playable. 18 hole course in a neighborhood park. Chorley is a work in progress and is being developed. Some tee pad extensions, better hole map signs, more pin positions, netting, and other QoL improvements are coming over the next year. This course has tight technical shots, tunnels, par 4s, and unique hole shapes. Stay on the fairway because the rough is rough. Hole map signs are far from accurate and are being redesigned. *UPDATES AS OF 4/18/2025* -Tall grass on 8/9/11/13. The city with finish mowing soon. -Downed limb on 15. We are meeting with the city on Monday so they can remove any downed limbs. -Water on hole 3. -The course is somewhat rough due to winter storms. Cleanup is happening over the next 2 weeks. Things to know that help us greatly: -NO NIGHT GOLF OR GLOW GOLF. THE COURSE IS CLOSED AFTER DUSK. VEHICLES WILL BE TOWED AND DISC GOLFERS WILL BE CITED BY PARK RANGERS. -Pedestrians have right of way. Keep an eye out for park patrons and don't throw until it is clear. -Dogs should be on a leash for safety reasons. It is a city ordinance. -Be respectful. Garbage cans are on 1/3 of the holes and there are many in the park lot. Use them. -1 bathroom is open and clean, but has no privacy stall.
