Represents the best and worst of Texas dg: some engaging tight lines, hole variety, and lots of shot shapes, BUT, a muddy mess when wet which is unacceptable given the cost and rank of the course. Much lesser courses, such as Old Settlers in Georgetown, are free and chip the heck out of it. This course is also heavily beset by Texas scrub: juniper woods that are ugly to look at and make for brutal rough. It might be an impressive course, but it is neither esthetically beautiful nor all that fun to play. Do better, Texas.

I enjoyed the difficulty of the Roadrunner long course. A par feels good and birdie feels great on this layout! Great people, great food and great course!
