Field of Dreams DGC is located in the Independence Township Recreation Complex, 5.5 miles West of Hackkettstown, NJ. This course features a mixture of grassy, wooded fairways, elevation changes, and open field holes. Featuring two sets of concrete tee pads and two baskets per hole, there are four main layouts. Local tournaments feature mixed layouts, with added OB in the fields, for additional challenge. In the summer of 2008, local pro Justin Choka designed the initial 9-hole layout, short - yellow, located in the wooded section of the park & along hiking trails that border the Pequest River. The following spring, an additional 9 holes were added, which surround the sports complex. In 2017, the Orange baskets were generously donated. There are now 34 baskets. Field of Dreams DGC is regularly maintained by local volunteers.
