About the course

Experience Northern Michigan disc golf at its finest at Rocky Top, a beautifully crafted 18-hole course that showcases the region's natural beauty. With a mix of wooded fairways, dramatic elevation changes, and rolling fields, each hole presents a unique challenge. Offering both short and long concrete tees on each hole, the course challenges players of all skill levels while providing an enjoyable experience for everyone—all set against stunning orchard views and diverse terrain. Entrance is a half mile north of Essex Rd, on the east side of US-31.

Overall, it was a fun time away with my brother-in-law on vacation. There’s a handful of holes that are well designed and very scenic and fun and we wanted to unload our bag on. But quite a few others that were just very straightforward and simple. We did play the white tees so take that into account. Overall difficulty is probably easy to moderate from the whites. Upkeep overall was great. I would say the overall course rating compared to what I’ve played is pretty inflated. This course is nothing like Maple Hill and far from the best in Michigan but a solid choice if you’re nearby.
