Spring Creek DGC

Laramie, WY

Good mix of long and short holes in a park setting. Creek runs through the middle of the park. Many holes play along or cross over the creek. The new layout installed in 2018 provides one basket and one 14-foot tee pad per hole. Multiple pin locations on every hole, changed regularly. Parallel park along street on park side near hole #1's tee.

Good distance course. Trees require you pick a line and stick with it. Just mowed, no problem finding discs

Fresh mow, great lay out, love the hole location indicators on the T pad.

A review/rating from a begginner's perspective: some baskets are very close to the river or require going over water for a "lost disc" potential. If an orange "Hormel" disc ever come down from the top of the pine tree by 18 tee box, let me know! Played there again and you have to watch out for those pine trees eating discs! Also not fond of baskets located right next to streams - decided to skip those baskets rather than risking a disc going in the water!
