About the course

During the off season of 2024, we are introducing a new layout. This layout will help protect some crucial USDGC holes and allow for some play on some unused areas in the off season. There ARE FINALLY tee signs. The new layout starts on Lakefront 7. Please park in the parking lot near the golf cousre. While you're at it, play a round on the new Winthrop Meadows course. The course shares a parking lot with the new summer layout and plays on the golf course.

*played the pro layout* Not fun for anyone who isn’t a pro. Genuinely just too long, end up laying up for par all day long. Not an awful course but it is very very very clearly not meant for anyone throwing less than 450ft. I’m an above average disc golfer, and I enjoyed my time outside, but I would never play that layout again if the goal was to have fun. Went 5 over par. Truly only a few birdie options as someone who throws 400ft. Also, be prepared to walk 500-900 feet between every hole. It’s extremely frustrating and excessive. Might as well go backpacking for 5 miles. There is a reason the course was empty on a Saturday morning at 11am when it’s 70° with no wind. Did not meet expectations, probably my fault, but, don’t waste your time if you aren’t on the pro tour. Also, four of the holes are just stupid. 818ft par three throwing over a hill? And back to back holes with wide open fairways and rocks to mark hazard areas. Just felt gimmicky at times
