This is a really nice course. There are fun lines and some really enjoyable tee shots. They did a great job clearing the fairways of debris and the choice of trees they chose to cut down/leave make for a good challenge. Tee pads are all concrete; baskets are temporary. I played when it was bone-dry, so mud wasn’t an issue and the stream bed was dry. Not sure how the clay would affect footing when wet. I’ll be back!

Some general maintenance that I’m sure will improve with foot traffic and crew work, but this is a technical shorter course with fair pars, tight fairways, sometimes I’d wish the fairways were a little more generous (new players might benefit), decent hike throughout, lots of elevation, valleys and up and down hill shots, tee pads cement but some could have been smoothed out better, good variety of dogleg shots, there’s good potential here for this course, nice views though mostly all woods, creek throughout comes into play but no water this time of year, I will definitely play when I’m in the area for $5 worth it if they continue to maintain and improve! Signs need actual layout of holes too and staff was confused as to who collects payment (inside or at the grill)?
