About the course

Recommend long trousers or gators due to weeds. Lots of rocks! This is an 18 hole course on the Central Otago District Council's Half Mile Reserve. Very open fairways with rock alcove basket placements. A shortish community style course. Teepads are indicated with buried flush to ground wooden planks with plaque overlay indicating distance and par of each 'Hole' / Kete.

Wow, this course is something else. The holes are mostly short, but the terrain is challenging. Very rugged and rocky, this isn't a course for an inexperienced player. I'd recommend trail shoes and long pants. The wind will be an issue, and your discs are at risk of being chunked up or lost. That said, the setting and views are incredible. A course in this setting is really unique and interesting, but it's certainly a challenge.
