Gorgeous scenery, but this course is both boring and frustrating. Challenging for all the wrong reasons. I walked off after 9, as it's not much fun spending 70% of your round wondering where the basket is and digging through scrub brush to find your disc after every throw. This course exemplifies "Golf is a great way to ruin a pleasant stroll."

Truthfully, one of the most boring courses I’ve played. Signage and T pads are great, but literally every single hole is just a 325 foot hyser over the trees and praying you parked it next to the basket otherwise you won’t be able to putt because of trees. No par fours, no short shots, no shot shaping, no side arms, no elevation, absolutely no variety. Spend the extra 25 minutes to make the drive to Leadville or Salida to play a more interesting course. If you’re in town and have the itch it gets the job done but don’t go out of your way to get here.

(RED TEES) I'm not sure if they did a lot of work recently but the course was great. It was great signage from hole to hole and you could see the baskets. The tee signs weren't necessarily correct with the position of the basket, especially holes 9 and 12. Really liked it overall.

Mostly blind shots. Tee signs don't represent the holes very accurately.

Lots of blind holes, some inaccurate tee signs. Nice views

Well maintained and well intentioned but, dang, just about every hole is blind… not really fairways to speak of, so you’re sorta just chucking and praying! But it is fun nonetheless.

If you are good at stock hyzers over stuff then this is the course for you. It could be good BUT when every shot is a blind its just not fun. If they cut 2 or 3 trees on each hole to make a real fairway, then this course could be good.

Okay course without much variety and all shots (from the long tees) are blind. Pros: Tee pads & baskets (both new and nice) plus it’s never crowded. Cons: Can’t see the baskets, prepare to search the field before teeing off at every hole. No greens, so good drives aren’t rewarded with baskets so protected. No/totally unpredictable groundplay. Very windy. No variety - every shot has to the over the top. Dangerous terrain for people and dogs with yucca, cacti, sharp plants everywhere.

Great course location and set up. There we’re lots of blind shots. More than I liked, but over all great course.

Sign for hole 9 might be missing near 8 basket. Otherwise all else great!

Rough, rocky, course. Flattish. Not too much up and down, but as most say the baskets are hard to see. There are no fairways.

You cannot see any baskets from the tees. The tees point in the right direction but you can’t see the baskets until you walk half way to them.
