This park is special to me because I learned how to play here. Always thought it was a great beginner course. Yea there’s a lot of hate on this course because it not having tee pads and the layout. They have improved the course significantly by adding tee pads and extending some of the holes. With this new addition it had given the course the life it needed. This course offers open field bombs, tight wooded lines, and of course at least one hole you’ll enjoy more during the fall/winter months lol. I’ll always have a warm spot for this great 9 hole course tucked away in a beautiful wooded spot in Berks county! I hear there’s more to come as well and would hope other people would give it a chance and see the potential we have here! It’s a work in progress and they’re absolutely moving in the right direction!
@seanwambaugh
My favorite local park. The new concrete tee pads have definitely enhanced the experience quite a bit, no more slipping in the mud!
@thornbushkiller
New tee pads are awesome! Looks like the signs were taken out temporarily while new signs are getting made.
@tysonlv
This is a great course to play. The new tee pads are a major improvement. I will play here more often because of them.
@tombroas
Fun course. Hard to find tees without udisc
@dirtydeets570
Nice park at the base of a nice college. Little to no tee boxes on most of the holes. And absolutely no signage except for the main sign as you’re coming into the park.
@edward13
Nice 9 hole. No tee pads. Dirt is rutted and has roots. Tee pads and signs would e great addition.
@kmillz8370
There is no signage and the teepads are bad but the design of the course is fun testing a variety of shots.

1- I came here a lot because I liked it, now I will come here a lot because I love it. The new concrete tee pads are spectacular. 2- New tee pad placements change the course to fun to fun and interesting. 3- I am an intermediate level player who could shoot par or around par. New layout, I cannot unless par is changed. The course is longer now. Not a bad thing though. Gives me motivation. 4- Always a beautiful park to be. 5- I can play this in about 35 minutes. If it is quiet, I will play like I am 3 people and only take 45 minutes. 6- The regulars are very nice and there is a community feeling. Pads were just installed so info is missing presently.

The newly installed concrete tee pads and new placement of many have turned this into a viable course for leagues. Also possible smaller sanctioned tournament combined with other local courses in the future when the planned tee signs are installed. Turning hole 9 into a true par 4 was needed.
@waggonab
Absolutely beautiful area but these T pads are trip hazards, and there are no signs whatsoever.
@ajbiii
Bring mosquito spray - pull discs out of hazards and play the two meter rule with no penalty. Many hazards with throwing motion if even slightly off the fairway. Very fun, half open & half tight.
@dminotto
A beginners course, and a nice one. The tee pads and the 'signs' which are obnoxiously close to the tee pads hurt the rating hard. It is one of the best courses in the area for new players.
@blakematthews96
This is my home course but it seems abandoned The tee pads need a serious upgrade 7 and 8 have no number signs. If you looking for a technical challenge an don’t have a lot of time this is your course to play .
@bigdaddyb
Somebody filled tee pads with loose gravel. Somebody is going to break an ankle.
