" Amazing course. Certainly the best views I’ve ever seen at a DGC. Holes are a perfect distance, because you have to worry about your disc’s getting away from you: the rough is punishing. Hole 16 is a tough scramble down, but a super cool shot. It’s a hole for sure, but we’ll worth it."

"Beautiful hike, front 10 are a bit easier to birdie. I took quite a few breathers (I’m from Iowa), but got through it well enough. Keep an eye on your discs because the shrubs will swallow them up on some holes. This is just such a cool and unique experience, I only wish they had a couple par 4’s. Save some energy for trekking uphill to hole 19’s pin!"

"Extremely physically demanding course. Takes advantage of the space pretty well until the final few holes. Doesn’t require crazy distance, just hitting lines. A must play if visiting the area, but bring lots of water!"

"Beautiful course and loved the design! I think it was a great idea to create a layout with very little uphill shots, even if that meant some hiking between holes. Great mix of wooded holes, large fairways lined with trees, and open shots as well. For me personally, I thought the course was a good difficulty level, but I could see others wanting more of a challenge."

"It’s awesome that the basin has a course. More of a destination than a lappable course unless you have legs like Armstrong. Steep terrain, loose footing. Bring good shoes and energy. A fun environment with hikers, zip liners, and the chairlift going overhead. Great views of the pass, professor and the east wall. 4 star with a few changes it has the potential to be a phenomenal course."

"Great signage and way less of an uphill hike than I was expecting. Better tee pads and some longer holes and this could be a pro tour level course"

"Amazing mountain views. All kinds of wild flowers covering the ski slopes. Tee pads are a bit suspect. Some holes are repetitive. Bring a lot of water and all your most flippy discs."

"Do yourself a favor. Throw a berg. 230’ tunnel- Berg. 420’ vertical downhill, yup the Berg will just park itself. 298’ up the hill, Berg, you weren’t getting pin high in one anyway. Berg it off the tee then you guessed it Berg for the approach and putt. It won’t roll away on you guaranteed. You’re welcome I just saved your score like 10 strokes. Seriously this course is a gem. Definitely top 3 courses ever. Spectacular views and a very well maintained course and path. Layout is great. "

"After playing all the top rated courses in Colorado, this mountain course at A-Basin tops all of them. Stunning views everywhere you look, great signage, DisCatcher baskets, well-kept fairways, and gorgeous bomber holes. It was a long hike, but a beautiful one. there might be a few short holes (200 ft) but elevation changes and lines marked by trees make these beautiful holes challenging. Recommend for intermediate to advanced players."

"Awesome mountain course with many holes at 11,000+ feet in elevation. Wide variety of shots & not overly challenging. Decent amount of birdie opportunities that are reachable w/a mid-range disc or putter. Hole 14 is a 420 ft shot down the mtn, but is very reachable with a putter. Course flows quite well, navigation was easy, & signage was great. Many of the dirt tee pads are short & a little uneven. Would be 5-star course if teepads were better. Course is free to play. Nice Discatcher baskets."
