Nice course - 7 holes in a beautiful neighborhood park setting near Congressional country club, shot variety is so-so. Tee areas were good and had signs on most of them. Some shorts some longs, occasionally have to wait for walkers or other park users. Holes 3 and 4 throw over a field which it seems like they are converting into a meadow - grass is high and un-mowed without any fairway and both rounds I played I had a hard time finding my disc in the field. My only gripes are that hole 1 didn’t really have a good line and need some mowing / fairways in that field for holes 3 & 4 otherwise nice little course. I think this nice park could probably support more holes or alternate layouts with multiple tees/baskets. Maybe someday!
@evsludge
The grass is super tall. Gave me a skin allergy haha the tees and baskets are great though. And the shot design is decently technical. Overall it’s fun to throw here. I went on a weekday morning and it’s totally empty.
@hyoomac
Originally a neighborhood niner with some questionable design aspects, this course was shortened and redesigned to seven holes. So it’s Safer, Shorter, and Duller. Decent gravel tees, good baskets. A few fun holes (1, 5, 7). Long grass on 2 - 4, and can’t play 6 if there’s soccer. Detailed review at Discgolfcoursereview.com
@ppingeton
Fun little course. Be careful of other park goers.
@mediumtom
Liked the variety of holes and the creative use of the available park space. Udisc made for easy navigation. A lot of work was done as the gravel tees were new and in good shape. The super, multiple angle, tunnel-shot mando was unnecessary and made for a chuck and pray drive.
@kylecorfman
Great course for what it is, a few fun tunnel shots
@alexplager
Beware the tall grass
@polanin
Lovely little course around some other rec areas. On the day I played, grass was pretty long so hard to spot all discs. Some food hole designs and basket locations too. Tough to rate it much above a 3 though with only 7 holes and no setup for more.
@mikelennett
Nice new pads, assuming the fine gravel will stay level.
@cspeak01
Great fun course, ideally go when the soccer fields aren’t super busy!
@ejm9978
Great new course. Gravel tee-pads. Could use directional arrows on baskets for next holes. Good interesting holes/mandos with what it has to work with.
@alesilva2121
Wish it could be 18 holes in the course , it's very well-maintained and so nice.
@shmoodaddy
2024 update: now 7 holes. Holes 1, 2, 5, 7 are good fun. The other three holes are just straight shots. The tees are nice w solid signs. Hope it can expand. ***2023: Only 5 active baskets. Minimal/missing signage. Park is fairly dirty, picked up 10 pieces of trash while playing.
@marylandff
Was excited to play this short course but when I got here the first 3 holes have NO starting pads or baskets !! Holes 4-9 are good. I like how the last 3 holes are placesd...challenging and a little technical. None of the holes are long.
@timbragan
Fun 7-hole course in a beautiful local park with a decent variety of shot shapes, some elevation change, and even elevated and hanging baskets. A couple shots play along the edges of fields and parking lots and may may be unplayable when the park is busy.
@danashorb2
For a nine hole par 3 course this is great. If you come when there's not too much activity you'll find plenty of space to warm up, shots that are wide open with a good balance of wooded shots. Tea pads are very well maintained. The space is used well I'll be coming here regularly.
@oliphantdj
A lot of very wooded, high accuracy shots. Not a course for big wide open throws. Nobody plays here. Very nice neighborhood.
@acelessbro31
This course being seven holes in a small area is bound to not have many different shots. It’s a bunch of stock Hyzers with fairway drivers for me. 6 has eagle potential with the right angle control. Fun for what it is.
@crushepatio
This course seems like you brought a portable basket to the park and tried to find some crazy lines with your friends… and I love it. Low ceilings and tight lines with demanding mandos throughout. I think they missed an opportunity with a couple of down hill elevation shots. All in all, this is a silly course that is in a great park, for a crazy rich community. I have to just laugh at the size of the houses. Definitely will return to work on accuracy off the tee since this course demands it.
