Nice property with lots of potential. Some nice variety in elevation, and a couple of cool shots over the creek running through the course. 15/18 holes were blind shots off the tee with very little signage/direction, so that got old pretty quick. No tee pads, and a couple of the holes didn't have the tee boundaries marked.
@jpickmo
Lots of potential but needs tee pads and better signs. Most shots are blind and it is hard to find the next tee and you don't know where you are throwing

Bachelor Run has new owners and a completely new layout! The wooden borders still exist, but this course is very challenging now. This layout was well thought out and it shows in their upkeep and the paths they cut. They still have to put some finishing touches, remove some debris, and clear up some minor confusing details, but I've been told new signage is coming for each hole! I've also been told a tournament is planned for later this year as well as night time golf. Once the teepads are more permanent, watch out, because this course has strong potential to become a hidden gem in central Indiana! It just needed the right people and the right vision!
@lwolf762
Overall the new layout is pretty dope!!! Hole 2s tee pad needs leveled out. Hole 4 your teeing off into a hill, just needs moved east a little. Holes 14,15 and 17 are confusing the fairways shown on UDisc are not there. I understand it’s new and there’s still some work that needs done like clearing and better tee pads and signage. Other than that I’m impressed, can’t wait to play again.
@tomcovington1
Front nine are short. Back nine are long and varied. 15 - 18 are spread pretty far apart. Lots of fun. And lots else to do on site.
@atari1309
Super long, not great for beginners. But a fun, challenging course!
@summersun
This course is a delight! It has a variety of play including water hazards, elevation change, necessary shot shaping and varying distances. When I played, the Black Locust and Honeysuckle groves were in bloom and the course smelled fantastic! I would highly recommend camping and disc golf here.
@mbammerlin
Upkeep is very good, no signs so a little hard to navigate without UDisc. Overall a fun new course. Hope to see them get permanent pins and tee pads.
@scumfreedom
Short front 9, long back 9. Course is well maintained. Stay away from the trench of bachelor runn and you should have an enjoyable round. Marked grass tee boxes. UDisc map is accurate.
@silverbak8five
oookok.....soooo from 2 years ago till now this has become what i feel as a solid tournament potential course the 2024 update is legit.... everything is updated on UDISC and has a very large variety of looks throughout the entire layout...!!! the wind makes for some really neat lines forsure....but theres some really amazing views from tee boxes now... especially late afternoon rounds with the sun coming down
@nickjaymes
For a course that just started out, it is really decent. My biggest complaint is the lack of tee pads. Haven’t played the back nine yet due to it not being open, but overall it is not bad. It isn’t very challenging, but it is fun to play. You have to be able to throw angle shots.
@tnice4413
Nice MVP Black Hole HD baskets. Course is not very challenging. First 5 holes are all short hyzer shots, followed by some forehand hyzer shots, and somehow a 165’ par 2. This course is not worth $6 to play in its current state. The property is very beautiful, and has tremendous potential to be one of the best around if they get some advice and have an experienced designer come in and help.
