@pizzagod
18 around 300ft shots through an overgrown area in the cities brush collection site. Read my full review on DGCR
@jclark612
Fun course with tight lines. Will be scrambling if off the fairway too far on many of the holes.
@spockthecow
I can tell that great things are in store for this course...there's evidence of work afoot. As of now, this is an interesting 9-hole back-and-forth course through slight woods. Signs and good poured tee pads on all holes, and a couple benches here and there, but that's about it for now.
@brianphillips
Over all a solid course nothing fancy.. just a good course
@chainedevil
This is a very fun wooded course. Youβll have to be able to sheep shots here in order to score well. The T pads are very nice, and all shots are accounted for here. This is a good complement to a sister course Kiwanis across town. Pretty decent course.
@birdbath72
Not designed for players of my skill level but it was fun to try it. A really well designed and challenging woods course.

I feel bad for this review but this not a 4star. It's a shame a lot of resources and time would've gone into building it. Probably needs a full time worker to clear out all the thorns and brush. Many of the holes are not golf lines. I had to throw over the top on 5 of the holes. That's ridiculous. 2 Other hole required flare skips around 90degree dog legs. 2 stars for great signage and the neat area but all in all probably not the place for a course when it will probably be overgrown in a year without help
@pastorpom
Enjoyed the round. Can't wait for spring to play both courses with a trip to bricks and brews for lunch.
@kayakpirate
I think it's a nice little course but I get confused easy on these shared nine holes but I play again
@rqualls72
This is a new & evolving course, so lines are a still taking shape. Very tight & technical. If you like wooded courses youβll like Ballardβs. Not necessarily beginner friendly, but it is a fun course.
@cprice71
More difficult than Kiwanis and it takes some shot shaping to stay in most of the fairways. It's difficult but fun.
@joshharris5
Great course design! Beginners visiting the area should definitely check out Kiwanis Park! Ballards is a difficult course with tight, technical lines.
@cdracula16
Solid course, nice signs and tees, and the scenery is solid and peaceful. Terrible green design and fairways make this course not worthy of being a regular course on my list. Just trees randomly on the green that donβt reward the already tight gaps you need to maneuver through For example hole one is a tight dead straight putter or mid- range with a slight turn that finishes straight; carefully maneuvering a tight 10-15 ft gap the hole way along its 320ft fairway. Problem is if you clear the initial gap about 280 down the fairway there are 15 trees cover the green that would punish you and obstruct any putt. The lay up is clearly better and thereβs no real risk reward taken into the design, too much risk to clear a gap and have a 30 ft obstructed birdie put when the two lay ups are significantly easier and will give you stress free tap in and take away the rough and scramble that could easily give you a double or triple. Would like to see better cleared greens and/or better pin placements. This kills the course and itβs just bad design that doesnβt reward clean tight gap hitting shots, which is what woods golf is all about. Woods golf is hard to design but this course has a lot of potential. For now itβs not worth the drive for me unless itβs for tournament play
@paintballn8
Great course to improve your game! Not very cart friendly though. Great job!
@gabeshelton
Really difficult wooded course. Bring bug spray!
@leevenson
Great technical course. Lots of shot options and shot shaping.
