About the Course
A beautiful, professional level 18-hole disc golf course set to the backdrop of the Cherokee Mental Health Institute that was built in 1902. The course has a variety of lines for both backhand and forehand dominant throwers, as well as optimal holes for rollers. There are a few OBs, mandos, 'tunnel' holes, and an island hole. The holes vary in length with a good mixture of short, medium, and longs. Follow 'Cherokee Disc Golf' on Facebook for more information on tournaments, leagues, and other happenings on the course.

"Fun little course. There's also a separate 9 hole that starts at the basket left of the first tee"

"This would be an awesome glow/halloween course! Odd that it goes around an active juvenile detention center, but cool use of the abandoned mental health institute. Would be a higher score if parking was clear."

"Ummm. Was driving by and it plays around a prison. Also by the state sexual predator unit. Don’t think my family and I will play the course. "
