This is a weird one. There are several bad design choices: practice basket right in front of hole 1's tee, multiple crossing fairways, and a feeling that this course is actively discouraging you from playing. That said, this is the ultimate XC golf challenge for those interested. You will be going off the beaten path, trying to decipher the UDisc map, and getting turned around often. The shot designs themselves aren't too bad, and you'll need to figure out some crafty lines to come away clean. This could be a hidden gem if given the proper resources and a safer redesign.

I take my ratings very seriously and I know I rate this higher than most, but I will stand behind that. This course plays like a hike through a fairyland forest. Seriously, this is a beautiful park w a course that makes full use of creeks, century old structures and elevation changes. Yes, it needs a lot of love. It's rugged and easy to lose discs. Some baskets need repair. Some tees are non-existent. They need more safefy steps and bridges. But this is one of my favorite courses despite the roughness. For those of us playing for decades, many courses used to be like this. I guarantee you will not play a similar course anywhere.
