Beau Pre DiscGolfPark

This is the 4th DiscGolfPark established in the state of California and the 14th DiscGolfPark installed in the United States. Established in August 2018. The Beau Pre Golf Course was designed by golf pro and owner, Don Harling in 1967. The French term "Beau Pre" translates to "Beautiful Prairie or Meadow" which is a great description of this course venue. This pro caliber, championship level course is a true gem in Northern California as this course was built into the lush wooded hillside which stretches out into the meadow fairways below. You even get a quick peek at the Pacific Ocean at the top of the hill on Hole #13. The natural rolling landscape setting provides a beautiful back drop for disc golf playing on the front 9 of the Beau Pre Golf Course. The course has moderately hilly terrain as you experience an ascent on the first 12 holes before playing along the hillside and then throwing back down the hill on "One of the longest holes in California" the breathtaking 1,200+ ft par 5 signature hole #15. A great variety of shot shapes and distances that will require a multitude of different throws to navigate these rolling hills and side slopes. The short (Yellow) layout provides a pro level course with a mix of challenging holes for a par of 56 measuring 6,586 ft (2,007 meters). The long (White) layout is a championship level course that will challenge the best players with an overall par 64 measuring 10,061 ft (3,066 meters). This dual basket course allows for lesser skilled and more skilled players to compete in the same group essentially playing 2 different courses at the same time. The highly visible Yellow (short) and White (long) baskets can be seen from ALL of the tees, even on some of the longer holes.
