About the course

The course does not have woods or many trees to navigate, but the holes are designed so that drive placement in crucial. No poison ivy to be found and not many chances of having to search the rough. Berlin Lake is a beautiful park far away from everything else. It’s a very quiet area and you’re likely to have the course to yourself for the day. Course uses parts of the park that were already maintained. Mostly open, but accuracy is still required to score well. Beautiful park to play a round at. Concrete tees are waiting to be installed and hopefully we will finish the 18 hole layout someday which will bring the woods and water into play.

It's a mile long nine, nearly. Long lines, sloped dam in play, it's a hike but a unique play experience.

Concrete tees have been at the park for 3 years. I’m just waiting for them to help install. Maybe this summer if we are lucky? I may do some redesigning since I don’t think we will be making this an 18 holes course either. So some things may get tweaked for a better 9-hole experience. If you like to throw big drives and want to play a course in the fall that doesn’t have a lot of leaves, this is the place to go. It really is beautiful out there albeit in the middle of nowhere.
