@rocsorcs
8 to 9 is sort of wacky, and you better throw FAR on your tee shot of 9.
@jabjab
Not an easy course, not recommended for beginners of which I am and it kicked my butt. Pretty views, well maintained, fun challenge but if you are not confident with your throw you will give offerings to the lake monster.
@strayerinc
Barely 3 stars. Too many walkers, quite long with hole 9 unplayable without being really good or making a major modification. Water in play on many holes. Too few holes if you are good. Too hard for beginners. Closest course to my house, so I play occasionally out of convenience. But Shawnee, Breck, or Alex Clark make this course look very poor. Again playable. But definitely not a destination course.
@ntxwaterfowl
Not bad, just crowded with non golfers that often don’t move. Last time we tried to play we gave up because so many holes were unplayable due to people picnicking by baskets or playing with their dog in the middle of a fairway.
@sharkfartsoup
Water hazards (x3) newbies will get wet or loose a disc. Fun course
@machislams
I only docked one star because of the people traffic here on nice days. A lot of kids playing, cyclists, and fishers here. Other than that, an easy and well kept course perfect for a short practice round.
@andromeda56567
The course is hard to follow if you aren't looking on the map the entire time. Beautiful course, the lakes make it a little challenging, especially for beginners
@ezdinger
Overall course is a nice 9 hole. Some baskets are hard to see from the tees though.
@dgaficionado
Good luck staying dry: beautiful ponds help define fairways and give players pause as they throw shots, especially on the final signature hole that presents a pro-level water carry en route to a hidden, hilltop green. This pleasant course fits in well with its surroundings and provides a thrill for amateurs and seasoned players.
@russhull
Bethany Lakes suffers from the problem that it is hard and a 9. Hole IMO -9 should be beginner friendly and this is not. If this was par-18 I would probably like the course. #7 over a lake (lost a disc), #9 is 300+ over a lake with no real alternatives and very few beginners can handle that. Several other holes basket is right on the water. TLDR; beginners will hate it and lose discs in the water. Experienced players wont play it because there are only 9 holes.
@dansdirty47
It’s a great 9 hole. Very pretty in the fall with the pine trees changing color
@mattéo
This is my home course and where I enjoy playing the most. Trinity, Munson, or harry myers would be my next choice.
@duosihto
A lot of water hazards, ducks/geese poop everywhere. Holes not well marked.
@viewtifulgx
Pretty difficult course, kicks my butt like it's an 18 hole. Pedestrians and fowl like to get in the way sometimes but failing your arms around and making weird noises usually clears both!
@discman711
Hole 9 is too far over the water.
