The course is in a beautiful Mississippi state park. There was active maintenance going on by Park personnel around the park while I was there so it’s well-maintained. The course has very good signage with “next tee” markers and signs at every pad with distance. There is a decent variety of different shot shapes, especially from the longer distance pads. You better bring your good shoes and a walking stick… And don’t even think about coming out here with a cart, even with just a backpack bag it was a hike for me. There are even steeper courses in Mississippi, but this is definitely one of the steepest in North Mississippi. I would say if you live anywhere within two hours and you’re serious about DG enough to be on UDisc then you should drive up here and play it. I played it on a holiday week and had the course basically all to myself, but on the weekends, I think it’s busier. Do be aware you need to bring a little cash to pay your way into the park, but it’s like two dollars . Also be aware that 18 does not come out next to one exactly so there will be a little bit of a walk when you get back to the end of the course depending on where you park. You will want to bring your own water but they have a clean bathroom in the RV Camp area. (Along the course on the front 9)

Beautiful course, upkeep is phenomenal, and the design was impressive. Don’t change a thing.

Beautiful course. Very heavily wooded on about 14/18 holes. Not recommended to play in the first few days after a rain storm. Lots of hills and mud. Would certainly play again

I think this is a great course. My only suggestion would be to remove some of the trees on hole 2 and on the left side of hole 13. Love the longs. Cant wait to see how this course plays as it ages.

Great course! Played the long tees and they are tough. Fun lines throughout

Amazing course! Short pads are a super accessible distance (I'm MA2) but still technical and challenging. Beautiful property.

@nberg16
Super fun course and very nice addition to the state! Navigating terrain was rough, especially in muddy conditions - some ropes or something to hold onto while going downhill might be nice. Looking forward to seeing it grow!!

The more I play it the more I love it. Scoreable but can be unforgiving off the fairways. Most importantly, it’s a fun track. Definitely on my list of top courses in the state.

@bilposwaggins
This is easily one of the top courses in the state! It shores up the Louisville/Starkville/Columbus area as one of the best disc golf regions of the state.

Still has work going on but 2/3 of the tee pads are in. Tee signs are not up but direction signs are and are great. I had my cart with me only and it is definitely a difficult task but still doable if you have a leisurely day to play. I played the blue tees as an average short thrower and did ok but with the cart and first time playing it took me a little over 2 hours. Gonna be a great course once finished and broken in!

First time playing. Good mix of shot shapes. Lots of elevation. Get ready for a workout!

Will probably be a 4.5 once complete. Mississippi State Park excellence in progress, though some of the lines lean into obnoxiousness. In a year or so, a great place for a pro level event.
