Honestly it’s not a BAD course at all, but I think it struggles with an identity issue. It’s a very short course, nothing really above 250 feet, so I’m just throwing putters and mid range. There isn’t a whole lot of shot shaping going on either, most holes are just straight. However, the rough that surrounds each hole is ROUGH ROUGH. Some tight tall bushes that are taller than me, thick thick wild grass (and I’m playing in the start of winter where pretty much everything is dead already). On top of that, there are a few holes where you have to throw over water so you risk losing a disc. If you get into those thick rough you’ll also likely lose a disc (pour one out for my Halo Mako3). And on top of that, at least half the holes are lined with houses on one side so you have to be careful not to throw into those. So all that being said, this course has the challenge and shot shaping of a beginners course, but some very unforgiving rough making it extremely punishing if you miss the fairways. So as someone with some experience, I’m not challenged by the course or seeing any holes that are super interesting. But on the occasions I mess up, I’m punished horribly for it. So I wouldn’t bring a beginner here cause they’ll be miserable looking and losing discs, and I wouldn’t really feel the need to replay this myself.
