Clearly an afterthought. They had some extra space, and one or two well-meaning people on staff. Shot diversity is pretty hard in Middle Oregon high country, but it doesn't feel like they took advantage of the space they did have here, even taking that into account. Several holes that are more public space are well maintained, but the ones in and around the back areas don't seem like they have very much if any maintenance. There's weeds growing up in and on the later baskets.

Decent layout, nice teepads, great view, sorta crummy baskets. Would play again.

Older baskets and unless you have UUDisc it may be a struggle to find the next hole. Beautiful view though.

This course is completely neglected. Grass is very long. Baskets are wonky. Multiple holes cross busy multi-use paths. Might as well take the baskets out entirely.

This place could be a 3.5-4 if it was kept up like the surrounding golf course. Some of the baskets need repair as well.

Love the views! Could some some TLC, especially the last five. Can be a bit windy! Hole nine is a bit awkward to find as you play back to the ending of eight.

Pretty cheap baskets, and hole 9 is missing. Fun easy course.

Great course, hole 6 to 7 is a little confusing but good none the less and easy to follow if you use UDisc!

Nice 9 hole course with a mix of woods and open fields. Great mountain view! Hope 9 is not shared with hole 8 as shown on layout. Throw opposite the tee pad to a black basket - marked 9.

Pros: there’s baskets and tee pads. It’s a fun enough course to just get out and throw. Cons: there doesn’t seem to be any effort to landscape around the baskets and tee pads. Holes 2 and 3 are in the middle of the field. According to udisc, you throw to basket 8 for both 8 and 9

Grass really needs some work. Up past my knees in most places.

Lots of potential, not much upkeep tho

Nice little course, baskets catch good, needs one more basket to make a full nine a good beginner course.

Nice simple course, 6 open holes and 3 lightly to moderately wooded ones. Plays over some walking and bike paths, near gardens, etc. UDisc shows tee 9 playing to 8s basket but there is a black basket back towards parking and hole 1 that is marked as basket 9. Recommend playing that one instead. Also, the UDisc navigation appears to have the wrong address. I recommend navigating to Black Butte Ranch and going right to signs for the mini golf course.

Great course for a place like Black Butte. Great for beginners and all around fun. Only downside is there are only 8 tee pads so you have to find #9’s then throw to 8s basket.

Wide open course. Hole 9 is out of commission so only holes 1-8 are playable right now.

Short, easy course. Fun to bring beginners while working on open field throws.

With so much awesome land around it's a shame they didn't put more thought into the disc golf course. It's not really beginner friendly like you would image a course like this would be, nor is it a true challenge. It's a weird mix of super open holes and 3 super wooded holes. At least it has tee pads.
