Rough but Fun Course
@76PncGrq0s
The local council had some waste land that they didn't want to do anything with. "Let's stick in a few baskets and call it a disc golf course!", said someone. So they did. And then they never touched it again. Absolutely the worst experience. You'll spend 90% of your time hunting for discs. Very easy to lose them (or dogs, or children, or small adults) in the wildly overgrown grass. Literally waist high in places. Then there's the gates, electric fences, downed trees, sinkholes (hidden in the grass)... This isn't a course. It's a health hazard.
@kevincosta
Great little course with some lovely lines but very, very overgrown at present.
@bbroadbent
Potentially great space. Grass too long. Fences too electric. Some holes too narrow. Tee boxes too non-existence. Huge waste of 9 RPMhelixbaskets. Who installed them, and why no up keep? I'd skip it
@burkey
Fun long course, spent longer looking for discs in the long grass than playing though, the electric fence was a fun surprise.
@mmmbiscuits
Nice riverside course. Bit tricky to suss out basket locations on blind play. But great long holes
@jimmycricket93
If you don't like your discs, or your ankles, have I got the course for you
@joshhughes69
Bring long pants and prepare to be looking for your disc regularly
@ajcurrie
Awesome course, cool to play. Good variety shots with trees and fallen logs from the cyclone. Sometimes grass is quite long but still a good course
@jack185
Desperately needs a mow, but there’s a lot of ground to cover and it’s kinda in the middle of nowhere
@antosaurus
Great course for beginners and seasoned vets alike. Awesome to see a course like this in Hawke's Bay.
@bezz1e
Muddy as all hell. And a few cow shits around as extra obstacles. Number 7 post outta the ground. Still fun though
@gibgibbington
Awesome course. Took a beating from recent floods, however will be back on par soon no doubt!
@ryangrzyb91
Tall grass that likes to hide you're disc very nice addition to the disc scene in HB
@jasonmalyon
Really enjoyed the course, looking forward to when art the baskets are installed
