@mgilden
Fun and compact park course. Probably best to play outside of peak hours.
@olorin
I’ve rated and reviewed 1130+ courses over the last 27 years and Bluemont is my All time #1 Favorite 9 hole course! There is so much variety with 3 sets of tees. This is my highest rated 9 holer, and it sets the standard that I compare every other 9 holer to.
@bunyar
I think the four rating is spot on here, it has a lot to offer, but with so many different tea boxes, and baskets it is absolutely impossible to navigate without UDisc. Also, playing from the blue tees is sort of a waste of time, as the upkeep on most of your T-shirts is not up to standard for it to be reasonably playable. It’s also dangerous because you’re throwing long distances through a busy park with multiple people on the course Playing other settings that may not be aware of you; not to mention the walking trail that cuts right through the middle. For a Reasonable challenge, I would suggest playing red tees to blue baskets.
@kwhip10
Fun track just have to keep your head on a swivel
@mkemike43ver
This is the most uniquely wonderful course I have had the pleasure of playing.
@mitmitchell
Long tees have some lines that aren’t really fair. Really punishing dog legs both ways. Kinda confusing which basket to go for. Gorgeous course tho and some excellent greens.
@shawnbackhand
Fun little course with a lot of different options. Gotta keep your head on a swivel or you’ll get hit in the dome by buddy who isn’t paying attention.
@dsplayfair
Love all the choices of layouts. Should play reds to reds first round just to see how the evil genius organized this. Youre not going to be able to bomb throws but there is something here for everyone.
@ejm9978
Great for what it is. Small course in the middle of the city. Great use of compact space to get in a 9 hole course with multiple tees/baskets per hole.
@bisness36
They did a great job with what they had fitting a 9 hole course in town. A lot of overlap and tee pads are a bit run down.
@bakeralex
Tight course, layout is a little tricky and tough when busy but well maintained park and course.
@lothda84
You can tell that this is a much loved course by local players. Multiple tea, pads and multiple baskets create variety for your rounds, but there’s only so much you can do in this little park area.
@mikelennett
Nine holes that can play like fifty four.
@strebs
Really great use of a small area. If you go in with that mindset, you'll be very happy
@marquardtryan
Most confusing course of all time. It’s a very simple park style course but some crazy person but three baskets on every hole that are like 10 ft apart and 3 teepads that don’t make sense. The holes play fine and the shots are fun but just make a simple short and long layout
@brotherbill
This is my home course, and for a nine hole, on a small footprint, it has something for everyone and just enough separation between holes. Beginners will enjoy it and a few of the blue tees will challenge most players. There are some nice changes in elevation and it is well marked. You can even find some challenging putts on 3 and 4. It is well maintained and it has restrooms(closed in the cold months)
@timkeeter
Great use of space. Play the Chainbanger’s18 layout, and you’ll get to use more discs out of your bag. Don’t let the front 9 get you cocky, either. Back 9 full of technical challenges
@polanin
This is such a great course, well-maintained by the local club and always getting better. It has 3 tee pads and 2 baskets so the possibilities are many. The professional distance/basket combo is challenging. The elevation is interesting. The practice basket is nicely set up, too. Good parking and next to a big park for field work as well.
