@petethayer
First time, great course; higher % of field vs wood holes. More complete signage/direction could be helpful for newcomers. Good time even in the drizzle!
@qmayville
Good course with variety, some baskets too close together
@tommy8814
I’m visiting Maine for vacation from Michigan, this was the third course of the trip and by far the absolute most fun, she’s beautiful!!! Super fun course!!!
@buzzzmichel
Pretty straight forward holes. There are more holes in the woodsy areas than I thought there would be…which was a nice surprise.
@bsmall8
Confidence booster. Open fairways easy pars. -14 on my first time out - with a drop in eagle. Take it with a grain of salt. Watch out for poison ivy - even in the fairway. Fun though
@brianphillips
Some of the pads are to short and they are rubber, hole 3s basket to close to 4s pad and fairway. That said hole 4 is silly, you walk through 7 fairway to get to pad? Why? This place is mainly all open and cost 7 bucks.. it's an OK backyard course. Several holes are to close together Not worth the 7.oo sorry not a great layout or flow
@elijah10
It was ok. A few fun holes but the layout is not great (lots of shots throwing near next tee pad). Tee pads are too short. Decent beginner course to practice throwing in open fields.
@jgallant92
In great condition this time of year. Nothing overgrown and quite dry (for boom)
@butlerontheair
Fun course! Pars are easy, but I'm not complaining! Wear waterproof shoes if you play in the morning
@heytheguy
First time here, this place is awesome. Love the open fields. Price is great $7 all day. Definitely come and check this place out.
@boldezy
Beautiful course with open fairways. Had a great time but it was a bit muddy after alot of recent rain.
@bigbabyjesus69
Most underrated course in Maine IMO. They must have done some serious work because the current course does not reflect what the earlier reviews say. Very good signage. Great elevation changes. Good shot variety as far as angles and distance. It lacks technical wooded shots but there is plenty of those around Maine. This is a nice break. For a mostly open course, this is phenomenal. I usually play in the Lewiston-Auburn area and this course is on par with all those great courses up there.
@franksavage420
Course is well set, maintained, clear directions on the signs at each hole. If they had a clubhouse that would be pretty much it, but I have nothing to complain about. Good mix, average like, 290 feet per hole and a high of 3 ~450/500 footers
@griffiath
Layout is pretty nice, good mixture of woods, open fields and elevation. Usually very muddy after rain, and plenty of bugs/ticks as is stated near the sign in sheet. Decent course overall.
@cronin1770
Nice Course. Could drop some strokes off holes to make it a little more challenging
@shanekirkland
Update: gave this place another chance. I still have the same gripes as before, but it is a fun couse that requires some interesting shot shapes. Some are a little gimicky (the moon shot hole and a couple sub 200 ft blind hyzer holes) but it is overall worth your time. They are putting in some new baskets, which is appreciated. Original: Not much signage, lots of tall grass, dangerous course layout with walks into fairways. Would have been lost several times without udisc
@robthepope86
Haven’t play here in 4 years. Vast improvements have been made since then. Most (not all) baskets have been updated to modern Disccatchers (easily worth an extra star). The layout is odd at first but really utilizes the land and maximizes whats available including elevation. Much less water, mud and rough than last time, although staying out of hazard comes with experience. The course is still a bit rough around the edges; could benefit from hired help. Tee pads are often too short and inconsistent. I like the addition of tee signs since last time. Plenty of trash/recycling cans, seating, and spool tables at the tee areas. It’s a unique track to be sure. Go to Maddens for your alcohol needs. I’ll be back.
