@bschatsiek
Lovely course that clearly a lot of people have worked hard to maintain, however the lack of signage and wayfinding was very frustrating. It wasn't bad once you got in the woods but the first few holes were confusing and the worst part was the lack of hole overview signage at each tee or even descriptions of the hole here on Udisc because there was so much OB lining fairways or behind holes that you didn't know about until it was too late. Add graphic hole signs on each jole and it's a 4.5 course, easy.

@morset
Missing tee signs. Other than that, a great course!

@benjaminu
Great course on reflection, but playing it for first time was a nightmare. Almost zero wayfinding in a place with very little distinct features. No hole notes for the layout is bizarre with OB hidden all over the course.

@zzumwalt
The holes are fantastic! I love the mix of open and wooded, left turning and right turning, short and long. I also appreciate the short and long tees on each hole. And the OBs/mandos add fun complexity. But the tee pads and signage need improvement. Put in concrete/brick tee pads and tee signs, and I’d give this course a 4.5 rating.

@cjoutwide3
Wicked conditions

@cachampion
U disc very helpful in finding way to next tee but most of the time it is obvious with paths well marked. Loved it. Thanks for all the hard work that has gone into this course.

@jeremy947
Tones and Astro truf tees but best course in chch so far ;)

@wildbill90
great course. one of the better ones i’ve played in NZ.

@mattiepatties
Awesome course nice and challenging could use some better tee pads but awesome to see all the work done to it as of late

@cjdonnelly
One of the most fun courses I've played. Gap hits and/or precise landing zones required on every hole. A fair but consistent challenge to score under par through 18

@haydnnz
Clever course design followed up with hours and hours of volunteer labour has created Chch’s coolest course. Must play! Congratulations to those involved. Look forward to seeing it evolve more once the rest of the tee areas get their upgrades. I wish I lived closer to this gem!

@jaysus86
Very hard to find your way around. None of the next tee sign’s actually point to the next tee pad. It’s definitely among the better courses in the area

@philipbotha
The new installed Bottle Lake course is for sure an advanced level course requiring a variety of shots to be executed like big drives yet accurate, backhand shots, forehand shots and you’ll need to have the finesse to hit some tight lines in the woods. Only thing the course lacks is proper hole signage indicating the holes par, and its distance. One of the best courses in Christchurch for your advanced level disc golfers!

@pyelet
Can't wait for the baskets to go in. Epic course!

@lauried
One of the very few NZ courses to offer an alternate Tee-pad on every hole, Kudos to the course designers! Very good technical course through the trees, long Tee-pads were Astroturf and short Tee-pads were ground. Appreciated the log guide rails on several holes. We loved this course, this will be a Primo course when baskets are in!

@joshnz
Awesome fun course, fantastic tees in most places, no baskets yet but hopefully soon!
@ealezy
Great variety. Tough to navigate on your first round but all in all a very fun experience. Could use a bit of signage. Will be awesome once baskets are installed

@zact87
Love the latest layout (hadn't played it in 5 months). All holes now numbered and have turf teepads. Play it once and you'll know your way around. Baskets would take a few strokes off the round score. Loved it!

@djinnintown
Add baskets and tee boxes with signs for each hole and it'll be the best one in chch

@morrie123
Great course and even better with the baskets and tee pads in place now
