Dangerous course for the public and horribly designed. But...ehh...it's pretty and great for a quick round. Some of the holes require a VERY specific shot and 7 has no fairway at all, just rip it and get lucky!

Knew this was a rough course from the reviews but wanted to try it anyway. It takes a beautiful way around the park but has a lot against it. Several holes are crossing paths in well used areas. I went after rain so there were fewer people but still had to be careful not to hit people. Most holes don’t favor a right hand which is fine for a few but the course needs some variation in shots. Several holes are so crowded with trees that there is no or only one narrow shot off the tee. (Hole 6 is the worst for this. The only open avenue is to play the hole 5 fairway.) Several holes are ridiculously long especially with the amount of trees blocking. Honestly I think this could be a fantastic 9 hole course if they just opened some fairways, moved some holes out of populated areas, and increased the par on some of the longer holes. It would take lots of work but the park is beautiful and worthy of a good course.
