Course is in need of some maintenance. Rough real rough and some fairways not very manageable. Loose grass left on top of open fields in large masses.
@dailydiscgolf
This is a really great course really challenging… Loved it. The scenery is amazing! Thanks it’s a forehand dream course. Could use some new signage.
@endgame153
First half of the course is pretty good. The whole course needs a little upkeep, and The latter few holes are way overgrown. It makes it hard to track your discs.
@dsjoman
Need sum new tee signs that say witch basket to shoot for. other than that great course lots of technical shots and beautiful scenery.
@crispy937
Ticks are out like crazy. Our group had about 12 on us total.
@jaredmiller21
Good course with a tight front 9 and more open back 9. There were a couple holes I would remove a tree or 2 on the front half but good lines overall.
@zmyracle
Unique course that is 2/3 in the woods and 1/3 in the open. Plenty of elevation. Open holes in the back are cool. Some holes have little to no gap in the woods, but overall a fun course.
@jtstevens2112
Don't go alone, need a disc spotter, even if you are pretty on target.
@jdwires
I loved the front 9. Not a fan of most of the back 9. The orange arrows were great for navigating. Some of the signs are in need of updating.
@isntlifebeachy
Tight woods with punishing lines at times. Last 5 open up a bit. Lots of elevation changes and shot types needed.
@a15sgriggs
The signage could do with an upgrade and it isn’t very obvious which basket you’re shooting to for the holes with 2. Otherwise it’s a nice park course with some decent wooded holes.
@hyde244
Would get another star, if having clearing signage and not putting baskets in both A and B positions. Definitely makes way-finding confusing - otherwise great course!
@waggonab
This course has some great scenery, as well as some really good shot variety and elevation change. Where it is lacking is good signage and keeping some of the brush cleaned up.
@jdeal2009
The rough is terrible a d the random trees make the lines very gimmicky
@cthediesel22
Great layout & been cleaned up since last time I was here so kudos!. Only needs better signs
@kiwidg
Front 9 are the tightest lines you'll see. Back 9? Bring a spotter. Shots are blind and rough is dense.
@kinderman
Not for beginners or the wimpy. Lots of elevation change, trees, and brush. This is a challenging course with lots of shot variety, and great views of the lake. It should be played at least once by any at least semi serious player in the area. Mark your wayward shots carefully. Easier in the winter.
@conley39
This course is better from October to April. After the grass gets tall the back 9 is not fun anymore. Many of the lines have grown shut by not keeping the trees trimmed. This was a great course a few years ago, at least until the grass got long. It would be a top tier course if maintained better. Most good reviews are after grass has died off and the rough thins out yearly. Unfortunately it seems all the Springfield courses have glaring flaws
