Amazing view, but you need udisc to find your way around. Watch for cactus.

A scenic 16-hole course overlooking Buffalo Pound Lake, with vibrant fall colors framing every fairway. Long, open wooded fairways wind across steep hills and dramatic elevation changes. Challenging yet rewarding, this course combines technical throws with unforgettable views—a truly memorable place to play.

Huge improvements recently. Trails and fairways mowed. Helpful to have a spotter on some of the shots. Park staff motivated to mow the grass more often. New signage for pro and AM tees. Washrooms a bit closer to the beach. Lots of parking. Excellent views!!! Check out Trailhead Cafe (Visitor Centre) for drinks, food, and board games. Overall, Blue Sky Valley is possibly my favourite in southern Sask.

Absolutely loved this course. So many interesting challenging shots. I love throwing off the top of a hill down into the valley. I couldn’t afford for this to be my regular course as the wind can easily pick up and take your disc into the deep woods where you will spend 15 minutes searching for it and come out with nothing. But an absolute must try at least once. Most fun I had disc golfing. UDisc app is essential. If your battery dies you may get lost as there is no signage

Absolutely the most amazing course for view I’ve seen thus far in Saskatchewan but a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT we came camping here only cause of UDisc and only 7 holes were mowed and playable so I was extremely annoyed but absolutely no ticks that we found !!

I want to love this course. It's so gorgeous and challenging that it should be a 4.5 or a 5, but the tee areas, signage, and upkeep are all awful to nonexistent. There's not a sign to be found in the whole Park even mentioning disc golf, let alone a course map or arrows pointing the direction to the next hole. Tees are marked, if at all, with a small white wooden stake or wire with a flag on it, all of which are less than one foot high. At least 6 tees were completely missing any kind of marking at all. As of July 2023, I could see that fairways were cut in what looks like a previous year. You can see them on the satellite view on uDisc. Unfortunately it's all completely grown in and, outside of the paths through the trees, the hole fairways are indiscernable from meadow growth. It looks like no one has maintained the course even once this year which is a shame because the park clearly maintains the walking paths that cut through the area. Making navigating even worse, uDisc has trouble getting an accurate GPS location because of the elevation variability. If at all possible, play the course with someone who has played it before. Ticks, mosquitos, and other bugs were terrible. Be prepared for a serious uphill /downhill hike. A round takes a good 3 hours.

We were warned at park gate that it is not currently maintained. That's an understatement. Got completely covered in burrs walking through brush. Too bad when it says baskets were installed just two years ago. Wish they had the traffic to keep it up since it could be beautiful with a great hilly layout and views. But currently unkept, no tee boxes or markings of any kind. Only indication that a course exists is baskets. Tough to get past hole 3. Not recommended until maintenance is done.

Such a fun course! I would recommend playing with someone who knows their way around the course for the first time because the course forces you to be thoughtful with your shots. There are risks of losing discs, rolling ankles and getting eaten alive by bugs and ticks, so be prepared for the hike and the challenge. A must play for advanced disc golfers in the province!

Terrible. There were no fairways to stall of.. tee boxes were almost impossible to find. No footing. I quit after 14 holes and didn't the rest of the day pulling ticks off me.

Has this course been maintained in the last while? There about 2 months ago and grass was unmowed - almost need a spotter every throw

Great course layout, very challenging physically, desperate need of tee pads, bring LOTS of water.

The paths between holes have been mowed with a bush-hog mounted on a skidsteer. With the amount of shrubbery to deal with the bush-hog was a good idea, but the skidsteer kicked up a lot of dirt at every turn. A small 4x4 tractor would make for a much smoother course in the long run. Challenging design. Good work on that.

This is probably the hardest course in southern saskatchewan. It's even harder as the provincial park doesn't do much maintenance, so be prepared to spend some time bushwhacking. Unfortunately, Hole 18 is now gone as the park is building some glamping sites there now.

Have a spotter expect to have long grass and shrubs and lots of scrapes on the shins

chadbraun

Was awesome last year right after tournament. Course has not been maintained since 2’ grass need spotter for every other shot lots of trees fallen over walkways. Has so much potential to be a top notch course.

Really good layout! Lots of up & down hill shots! Tunnel shots! Super fun! Make sure to have a spotter handy cause it’s not fun looking for discs in the bush!😬😬
